So you just bought a Windows Machine. It is so nice to hear that (smile), but now it is time to get it up and running. Most of the time, all the work will be done by us. You just log in into your machine. But often times issues arise

We know these are common issues: 

RDP Connection not working

Can not access websites on my browser! (Windows)

If you do not present any of those issues, then you might just want to connect to your server and start using it. So let us begin.


On your welcome e-mail you will get a text containing the following data:

IP:
User:
Password: 


Let us use some sample information for you to get started.

IP: 10.0.2.2
User: Administrator (Default user for windows VPS)
Password: yourpassword



  1. Open the Remote Desktop Connection Client by clicking Start > All Programs > Accessories > Communications > Remote Desktop Connection.
  2. Enter the IP address of the server in the Computer field and click Connect. [ 10.0.2.2 in this case ]

  3. You will be see a login screen like this: 

            

     4. Just login with your credentials and you are good to go!
